Player Equipment


Airdrie & District Soccer Association provides clear, consistent equipment guidelines to help families understand what players need for every season. Below is a simplified overview of required gear for all players, along with the unique items supplied in each program.

Equipment Required for All Players

These items are required for all programs:

  • Shin guards (worn under socks)
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Indoor: soccer cleats (no metal studs). Players in Club U10/U11 may need indoor shoes depending on the CMSA game schedule
  • Outdoor: soccer cleats (no metal studs)
  • Water bottle
  • Weather‑appropriate outerwear (outdoor seasons)
  • Optional: gloves, toques, base layers, gear bag


What ADSA Provides by Program

Below are only the unique items provided based on program.

Grassroots – U4 to U9

  • Timbits jersey (player keeps)
  • Shorts and socks (player keeps)
  • Participation medal (season end)

Community – U10 to U18; Adult Recreational

  • Club jersey (player keeps)

Club Program – U8-U19; CUSA/CWSA

  • Match jersey set (returnable unless otherwise noted)
  • U10+ teams: must be returned undamaged. $100 fee for loss/damage.

Club Program – U8-U19; CUSA/CWSA

U8–U9

  • Required: Black Adidas shorts & socks, blue training top
  • Optional: Adidas backpack, blue track jacket, black track pants

U10–U19

  • Training Gear:
  • Training: Black Adidas shorts & socks, light blue training top
  • Training + Games: Adidas backpack, blue track jacket, black track pants, blue shorts, blue socks

World of Soccer is the official supplier for all Airdrie & District Soccer Association apparel and branded gear. All club shorts, socks, jerseys (where purchased), and additional team items are to be sourced through World of Soccer.
